Profile Dae-Hwang Yoo received his Ph.D. in physics at the Pusan National University (Korea, working in the thermodynamic properties of the adsorbed system on single-walled carbon graphite. After a postdoctoral period in the same group, he joined the Institute of Basic Science at Ulsan University, as research professor where he worked on the photocatalytic properties of oxide semiconductors and graphene. He has several patents to his name is a seasoned professor of renewable energy systems.

He has expertise in portfolio analysis of hybrid renewable energy systems, as well as multi-criteria decision analysis in the Energy and Development Sector. Nsafon has made huge contributions to ending energy poverty, promoting economic growth and environmental sustainability through the design, optimization and development of customized energy systems for rural and agricultural use.
